Your audio and transcripts

The public transcription tool processes your selected file on your device. Audio, filenames, transcript text and edits are not uploaded to our recognition servers. They remain in page memory and in any files you choose to export. When you choose Save to Notion, selected text and metadata are stored in IndexedDB on this device for up to 24 hours to survive sign-in and authorization. Audio is not stored there. Drafts are removed after successful saving or when you discard them; expired drafts are removed when you next open the tool or library. Closing or refreshing the page discards the in-page result.

Model and runtime files are downloaded by the browser. They may be cached by the browser, separately from your recording. Local processing does not imply that all network traffic stops.

Public website usage events

We count page views, transcription starts and completions, model readiness, failures, cancellations, copying and exports. Events record the event name, page path, referring page, source site or campaign tag, country and a returning-browser yes/no flag. They contain no audio, filename or transcript text.

The returning flag is stored in localStorage without a user identifier. Counts represent events rather than unique people or retention cohorts. Clearing site data removes that flag. Cloudflare also supplies cookie-free aggregate website analytics.

The public website also uses Google Analytics to measure visits and site usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives page addresses, referring pages, browser and device information, and usage events. We do not send audio, filenames, transcript text or personal edits to Google Analytics. The local edition does not load Google Analytics. Notion collection service

This cloud service uses a private, HttpOnly browser cookie lasting up to 30 days to keep anonymous libraries separate. Clearing this cookie loses access to the anonymous library. Hashed daily IP buckets limit free requests. Clerk manages account sign-in. For registered accounts, we store your verified login email and an internal account identifier; invited paid accounts also have a payment ledger. Submitted video links and task status are stored for free tasks. Importing a local transcript uploads text only, after you confirm saving or import a transfer file; audio stays on your device. Cloudflare processes and temporarily stores audio and transcripts. Original media is retained for approximately 24 hours and downloadable results for 7 days; scheduled deletion may occur shortly after expiry. Notion pages remain in your workspace until you remove them.

Saving to Notion requires a signed-in account. Notion OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest. Disconnecting removes the credentials stored by us; you can also revoke the connection in Notion. Stripe hosts payment entry; we store payment references and amounts, not card details. Task and financial records are retained for support and reconciliation. Contact us to request access or deletion; financial retention requirements may apply. Transcript content is not sent to website analytics.

Previously submitted waitlist information

The public waitlist signup has been retired. If you previously submitted an email, the stored entry may include the email, signup page, country and timestamp. Contact [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion.

Hosting and requests

Cloudflare serves the website and usage endpoint. Browser requests to load the site and model files expose normal connection information to the serving providers. We do not sell your audio or transcript content, and the free local tool does not require an account.
