Privacy Policy
The short version: on the free plan, your audio is processed inside your browser and never reaches our servers. We can't see it, store it, or train on it — it never leaves your machine. Here's the complete picture.

Your audio and transcripts
Transcription on the free plan runs entirely on your device, using a speech model downloaded to your browser. Your audio files and the transcripts generated from them are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored by us. After the model has downloaded, transcription makes no network requests — you can verify this in your browser's developer tools.
Transcripts exist only in your browser session and in the files you choose to export to your own computer. We have no copy.
The upcoming paid Pro tier will offer optional cloud transcription: audio you explicitly submit in that mode will be sent to our transcription provider for processing. Before Pro launches, this policy will be updated with exactly what is sent, to whom, and how long anything is retained — and cloud processing will always be opt-in, never the default for free-plan use.
What we do collect
- Waitlist email. If you join the Pro waitlist, we store the email address you enter, together with the page you signed up from, your country (derived by our hosting provider from your IP — we don't store the IP itself), and a timestamp. It's stored with our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and used only to contact you about Pro. Unsubscribe or ask for deletion any time by emailing us.
- Anonymous usage events. We count clicks on a few buttons (for example, the Pro button) via a first-party endpoint. Each event records the event name, the page path, the referring page, and country — no cookies, no user identifier, no content data.
- Aggregate web analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and shows us aggregate page views and performance metrics, not individual visitor profiles.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad trackers, no tracking cookies.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties.
- No accounts on the free plan — there is nothing to profile.
- No access to your audio, ever, on the free plan — this is an architectural property, not a promise of restraint.
Hosting and third parties
The site and its APIs run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes requests to serve the site (as any host does) and provides the cookie-free analytics described above. The speech model files are fetched by your browser when you first use the tool.
Your rights
The only personal data we hold is the waitlist entry described above. Email [email protected] to see it, correct it, or have it deleted — deletion requests are honored promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes — for example, when Pro's cloud mode launches — the effective date above will change with it, and material changes will be noted on this page.
